We've been playing with Samsung's Instinct for Sprint over the past couple of days since our unboxing & first-impressions article, and our initial surprise over just how good a handset it is hasn't gone away. The carrier's hype machine has been in full effect over the past few months, pushing the Instinct as the ideal partner for the mobile user ...

Samsung has announced their new touch device, called the F480, otherwise known as Tocco. Before you start to Google the word, it means 'Touch' in Italian. Samsung is making a huge deal over this thing, spending more than $5.5 million to promote this device. They chose a good one to spend the cash on, as the device seems to be ...

Pocket-lint are reporting that Vodafone UK have confirmed they'll be carrying the Samsung F490, the keyboard-free version of the F700v that's already exclusive to the network. With HSDPA, a 3.2-inch 240 x 432 touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera with flash, the F490 has been hailed as a significant iPhone rival (although reviews have suggested it fares poorly in a comparison with ...

As ever, they've done a comprehensive job with screenshots and coverage of pretty much all the F490's features, comparing it to rivals from LG and, of course, Apple. Review author ...

Samsung's F490 - which appears to be generally based on the F700, only with an upgraded 5-megapixel camera and the slide-out keyboard deleted - has been officially scheduled for release in Russia this month (and presumably elsewhere too), with a price considerably lower than the €530 it was predicted to be: the equivalent of just €412 ($610).

I just got confirmation that Sammy’s new i900 will NOT run Windows Mobile. Instead, it will sport the same user interface as the F700v aka Croix. The i900 is essentially the anorexic sibling of the F700v due in part to the lack of slide out keyboard. Make sure to check out my exclusive review of the Vodafone ...
