Our sister publication SlashGear has posted up a review of the new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. The new OS has been anticipated by fans of the WinMo OS and is finally now on the market. The OS is best used with Exchange and once Exchange 10 hits the market, the OS will shine according to the review.

It will be hard for fans of other operating systems to fathom, but there are lots of people who get excited at the prospects of a new Windows Mobile OS. The next version of the OS coming down the pipes is 6.5 and it has been given its own video treatment.

HTC have announced a mysterious press event to be held on Wednesday June 24th in London, UK. Seemingly titled "Come see...", the flier gives no suggestion as to what might be on the agenda for the event.

Over at SlashGear we've been video unboxing the latest Windows Mobile smartphone, HTC's deeply impressive Touch Diamond2. Announced at Mobile world Congress in Barcelona last February, the HTC Touch Diamond2 has a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, WiFi b/g, 3G HSDPA, GPS and the latest version of HTC's own TouchFLO 3D interface.

Pre-orders are already available for the HTC Touch Diamond2 without it being 'official'. Expansys UK lists the phone, ready by April 17 with early orders receiving £30 worth of vouchers after shipping.

HTC Corporation today unveiled the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2 --each updates of the original devices. The two gadgets utilize HTC's latest TouchFLO 3D interface that has been more deeply integrated into a customized version of Windows Mobile 6.1.
