Aliph’s induction Jawbone Bluetooth headset wowed reviewers when it launched and still regularly impresses now; in fact, it was Apple’s headset of choice for the iPhone while they pushed their own earpiece through the FCC.  Now images of the next-generation Jawbone have shown up undergoing FCC testing, with a newly sleek body and more compact charging connector but, fans will be pleased to hear, the same patented audio technology that made the original Jawbone so popular.

Aliph Jawbone 2

Called “Noise Shield” and “Voice Activity Sensor”, Aliph’s technology uses a combination of directional microphones, dynamically adjusted earpiece gain and a sensor which uses the vibrations of your face to track when you’re speaking and cut out extraneous noise.

According to the FCC, the Jawbone 2 will have an earloop and multiple sizes of earplug, just as its predecessor.
