A blogger and app developer confirmed that Android App Market will start selling priced applications starting with the US and UK in early 2009. According to Martin Drashkov in his blog post, the eagerly-awaited Android Market will also roll-out to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and Spain shortly thereafter.

Martin wrote:
A lot of people have noted that the Android’s Market is currently somewhat outclassed by Apple’s App store, both in terms of the number and quality of the applications available. However, with the arrival of priced applications, and the profit motivator, we should finally see a competitive answer to Apple’s App Store as developers start releasing apps they’ve been working on but were unable to easily sell.
Google had promised that it would allow paid applications in early 2009 with 70 percent of market revenue going straight to developers. With this business model and revenue sharing, hopefully developer will begin developing interesting applications.
And consumers will get high-quality applications and contents to use

Is Android supported by LifeInPocket(LifeInPocket.com) one of the most popular mobile app. If it does, then it will be more attractive than iPhone.
