App Store is now live and Apple releases iTunes 7.7

While you can’t really get any application from App store at this moment, it does indeed give you preview on what it will be selling – listing 552 applications. There are about 25 percent of free application listed right now and the other 75 percent commercial application ranging from $4.99 up to $9.99. At this point, the App store is operating fully yet, it will require users to have firmware 2.0.

Apple also releases an update for the iTunes  - version 7.7. Most of the changes from the previous iTunes are basically in place to accommodate the iPhone 2.0 and 3G iPhone. The updates is now available in your Mac OS X Software Update, Windows version has also been updated and ready for download.
