ASUS have confirmed their plans to market the M930 smartphone, a horizontal-clamshell that has both a 2-inch QVGA external screen and traditional numeric keypad as well as a broader, 2.6-inch 400 x 240 internal display and full QWERTY keyboard. Running Windows Mobile 6 Standard - which means there’s no touchscreen either out front or inside - the M930 packs 64MB of RAM and 256MB user memory, as well as triband GSM/UMTS and 3.6Mbps HSDPA, WiFi and Bluetooth.

A rather measly 2-megapixel camera, albeit with autofocus and a flash, hides round the back, and the handset as a whole weighs just 158g and measures 113 x 54 x 18.7mm. The TI CPU runs at 450MHz.
ASUS will launch the M930 officially at CeBIT 2008, so expect availability sometime after that.
