The ASUS P552w PDA phone launched today and it has a new touch UI that’s sure to catch some attention. It’s called Glide and features several native applications such as Asus Today, EziPhoto, EziMusic and Anytime Launcher.
It features a 624MHz processor, 3.5G HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11b/g, USB, GPS and more. The device will also come with Google Maps pre-installed along with the ASUS SMS Location Link software. So, users can send each other text messages and then easily locate each other on the maps.
Several applications come pre-installed on the ASUS P552w as well, as we already mentioned. They make for several entertainment options. For instance, EziPhoto allows you to flip through photo collections as you would with a tangible photo album. A calendar allows you to organize your events and memos, plus you can organize your photos by the date they were taken.
