Another Windows Mobile smartphone from ASUS, but the P750 drops the clamshell keyboard design and instead gains the Pro version of the OS and a 2.4-inch QVGA 240 x 320 touchscreen. Triband GSM/UMTS and 3.6Mbps HSDPA, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR round out the connectivity features, while the P750 also has a SiRF III GPS receiver and optional TMC module.

Measuring 113 x 58 x 17.4mm and weighing 130g, the P750 uses a Marvell 520MHz CPU and has 64MB of RAM and 256MB of user memory, expandable via microSDHC card. There’s also a 3-megapixel, autofocus camera on the rear, and a smaller VGA camera on the front for video calling. Included software lets you both use the GPS as a navigator as well as periodically send updates of your position to contacts.

ASUS have released the P750 in India priced at Rs. 28900 ($737) but there is no word yet on availability elsewhere.

Where is this P750 available. I am in New Delhi and visited a number of sellers but with no luck. I doubt if they have really released the model yet. The rumors are spread to create hype!
