AT&T Mobile TV service apparently delayed; no sign of LG Vu

It appears that AT&T’s mobile TV service – which was expected to launch on February 5th, with the LG Vu as headline handset - has been delayed, perhaps significantly.  According to Mobiunity, the carrier’s latest pricing information distributed among stores makes no mention of the LG handset, nor the Samsung Access which was assumed to be fleshing out the mobile TV-capable range.

AT&T LG Vu - no sign of a release

The service, provided by Qualcomm’s MediaFLO, is already being used by rival operator Verizon as part of their V Cast TV system; AT&T were rumored to be getting two exclusive channels among the rest of the video content.

Present on the roadmap – which runs through to April 7th – is the GSM Palm Centro, black LG Shine, a low-cost smartphone called the 5700, Sony Ericsson’s Z750 and the Motorola Z9.
