I was never a big fan of soccer, but in other parts of the world the sport is as big as the NFL here in America. AT&T has announced that it will now become the official communications services sponsor for Major League Soccer in America.

AT&T will be the title sponsor for the 14th annual MLS All-Star Game and the logo will be placed on the front of the player’s jerseys and in-stadium signs at the event. AT&T will also be delivering exclusive content for soccer fans.

The content will include player profiles, post-game highlights, interviews, goal of the week and more content. WAP page for MLS is also under development. The agreement also means AT&T will offer MLS games on the PC and its U-Verse TV service.
