LG’s Vu mobile TV phone was expected from the beginning of the year from AT&T, but the handset - and the MediaFLO based TV service - has been mysteriously delayed for rumored “licencing” discussions.  Now the Vu has finally shown up on an AT&T page, only rather than a glossy launch it’s slotted quietly into the TTY compatibility chart; curiously, two entries - the CU915 and CU920 - are there, lending weight to suspicions that AT&T will offer the cellphone with and without MediaFLO.

The differentiation could be due to AT&T’s less-than-total 3G coverage, with the CU915 intended as a lower-priced option for those who MediaFLO won’t be available.
