According to a leak today, Hitachi will be launching a phone that is capable of recording HD video. It's called the Hi-Vision Cam Wooo, at least according to the packaging, and it's only the second phone to sport this HD video recording option. The first was the Samsung Omnia HD.

The cell phone carrier, Cricket, just received a serious boost today by announcing a new high-end phone on their service. It's the Motorola QA4 Evoke, and it's sure to attract some attention, considering it's the only touchscreen phone on the carrier.

It looks like Verizon isn't the only carrier that will soon get to enjoy a mobile hotspot on their network. In fact, Sprint just announced today that they will soon offer the Novatel Wireless MiFi 2200 "Intelligent Mobile Hotspot" on their carrier as well.

Well, it looks like AT&T has sprung another leak. This time, a pricing sheet has emerged from the Southwest that shows just how much the new BlackBerry 8900 will cost once it's released on the carrier.
The smartphone will cost $199.99 when you sign up for a two-year contract and after you mail-in a $100 rebate. We still aren't sure about ...

AT&T is looking to buy up the rest of Alltel from Verizon, according to a source today. AT&T is supposedly considering buying about 18 areas that will not be contained into Verizon's network. Another 6 areas will be left for small carriers.
