Nokia is preparing to launch what could very well be the first flagship touchscreen mobile phone the company has seen this coming week. Robert Scoble suggests that this handset may include Broadcom’s new chipset that combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, which is “just about” to be announced.

Last Friday Clearwire Corp. announced the completion of the merger with a unit of sprint that is building a new WiMax wireless data network. The aim of this merger is designed to create a high-speed data network that is faster than most current mobile data networks.

It seems someone has already unlocked the Verizon BlackBerry Storm for use on T-Mobile’s GSM network.
