The Dell Mini 3iX has broke cover and has the same 3MP camera found in the Chinese counterpart. The main difference between the two is that the US version of the device has support for 850/1900/2100 UMTS/HSDPA connectivity.

Nokia has unveiled that it will stop producing games for its N-Gage devices next year with the date set for the month of September. Users will be able to continue downloading new games for the platform through September 2010 and all social aspects of games will cease to function then.

Word has come in today according to a poster over at the Sprint forums that Sprint has blocked the use of smartphones as 3G modems after years of allowing the practice. One user is very angry and plans to sue Sprint over the issue.

HTC CEO Peter Chou has said that there will not be an Android version of the slick HD2 coming. Chou pointed out that HTC could make an Android version of the HD2, but it has to "take care of Windows mobile."

Motorola and Verizon Wireless went all official today with the new Droid handset. The device is very cool looking and has a nice large 3.7-inch 854 x 480 capacitive touchscreen. The handset will hit on November 6 for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.

Today the HTC HD2 turned up on the O2 website which lends strength to the expectations that the device will launch soon on the O2 network. The rumored date was first tipped for October 19 and we have still yet to see the device.

I have been waiting for a fuel cell that can keep my mobile phone charge continually without needing an AC outlet for a while. Toshiba has unveiled a new fuel call called the PF60A000001 Dynario that can be refilled on the go with methanol to charge mobile phones via a USB port. Sadly, it's available in Japan only.

Today our sister publication SlashGear posted up its review of the cool HTC Tattoo Android smartphone. The verdict is that the Tattoo is a great device to flesh out the lower end of the Android market and gun for the feature phones out there.
