I use an iPhone and the biggest problem for me is that when I am driving if I leave the phone in my pocket I often don’t hear it ring. The other issue is that my carg lacks an auxiliary input so I can’t just plug the iPhone in and listen to my music on the road.
Belkin has announced a pair of new iPhone accessories that will not only keep your iPhone in a position where you can tell it’s ringing, but will allow you to listen to the music on the device over your car stereo as well. The new accessories are the Belkin TuneBase FM and the TuneBase Direct.
Both models will hold the iPhone in portrait or landscape modes and allow the music on the iPhone to be played over the car stereo. The difference in the two devices is that the TuneBase FM has an integrated FM transmitter and the TuneBase Direct has a 3.5mm cable for plugging into the auxiliary port on some car stereos. The TuneBase FM will sell for $89.99 and launch in mid-July with the TuneBase Direct launching in early June and selling for $69.99.
