MetroPCS is offering the BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone on an unlimited plan for $50 a month. For just $10 more, you can score BlackBerry Enterprise Server version.

The nation’s number-six wireless carrier, MetroPCS has 4.6 million subscribers and attracts people by offering unlimited calling at low rates. Right now, the service is available in just nine states. Current major Metro markets include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Detroit, Wilmington-Philadelphia-Trenton, Atlanta, Orlando, and southern Florida. For $50 per month, you get unlimited picture messaging, email, IM, WAP browsing and directory assistance.

The Company does not offer contracts, only month-to-month plans. The offer is fantastic for those that do not wish to sign up for long terms contracts, do not travel much or work and live within the same area. The main catch of the deal is that if you travel outside the coverage areas, you will pay 50 to 80 cents per minute for roaming.
