BlackBerry 8900 series smartphone definitely packs a punch.  BerryShack received an anonymous tip confirming that this is indeed the new BlackBerry 8920.

Big dog execs will be clamoring all over this power house of a smartphone packed with a 480×320 new half VGA color display, full QWERTY keyboard, 624 MHz processor, a fairly large 1500 mAh battery, GPS, WiFi, all powered by a new Tavor chipset for blazing performance.

Talk time and standby time is yet to be determined.  The target launch date is sometime in May of this year.  If we don’t see it at CES, it’s most likely going to show up at 3GSM in Barcelona next month.
