If you thought the brief eBay glimpse of RIM’s upcoming 9000-series BlackBerry was the only sighting of the smartphone we’d have today, think again.  BGR has managed to acquire an internal spec document detailing the handset’s features, including the new themes, in-browser streaming video and enhanced web access.  They also break the news that, contrary to rumors otherwise, RIM are still on target for a July launch.

Other new functionality includes automatic media playlists, an improved photo browser that can simultaneously show images stored both in the device’s internal memory and any additional storage (e.g. microSD) and tweaks to the camera (including a full-screen viewfinder).  Even the WiFi setup wizard gets detailed, and BGR has confirmed that there’s no front-facing camera.  All of the different language variations are also listed, so if you’ve been wondering about Bahasa settings your questions are now – hopefully – answered.

So, July launch, HSDPA, WiFi and GPS, a full-QWERTY keyboard and OS that should bring RIM back into the game compared to the latest releases from Apple and Windows Mobile.  Check out the documentation gallery below.
