If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the moment you get to put your hands on the BlackBerry Bold, you can now at least get a good look from every conceivable angle of the latest handset offering from RIM. Engadget Mobile has put up several unboxing photos to heighten your anticipation.

Coming from Rogers, the BlackBerry Bold seems to have a vivid screen and the handset fits comfortable in your hand. The keys are logical spaced and it’s all in all easy to use. This is one hot little smartphone, that’s for certain.

And in case you’ve forgotten the specs already, here’s a bit of a reminder:

the Bold has tri-band HSDPA, quad-band EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1GB of onboard memory, and a 2-megapixel cam that can take advantage of the GPS for a bit of geotagging tomfoolery. The integrated media player seems to get the job done with a pile of supported formats — including DivX, some support for XviD, H.264, MP3, WMA, and a bunch more

Yeah, if appearances were everything, I’d say this one hit the nail on the head.

Nice, but indulging in a Rogers monopoly? That’s the only downside. There’s other Blackberrys on other networks, but not the Bold. Unfair.

I can’t wait to use it to text my friends when the Eagles are beating up on the cowboys this year.
