Blackberry Curve 8520 gets official

It hasn’t been very long since Blackberry launched its new Tour handset. Another new Blackberry device is now official called the Curve 8520, which looks much like the other Curve smartphones with one big change.

The other Curve devices on the market share the same track ball for navigation. The track ball works well, but it is prone to breakage as many heavy Blackberry users can tell you. The new 8520 replaces the track ball with a track pad like the one you find on a notebook.

Other features include a full QWERTY keyboard, 2-megapixel camera with video recording, Bluetooth, and access to Wi-Fi, email, and the Web. The device also sports a full media player and the other functions you expect to find in a Blackberry.
