BlackBerry Javelin sells for big bucks on eBay

What do true BlackBerry enthusiasts do when they have $17,100 to spare and eBay open in their web browsers? Spend that cash on a BlackBerry Javelin, apparently.

It seems someone really wanted the BlackBerry Javelin, really bad. The phone has WiFi, GPS, a HVGA+ screen and a 512 MHz processor. However, it lacks 3G! For that much cash, I’d hope the phone would at least be on par with top of the line phones currently available!

Either this is a scam or there’s someone out there with a serious case of “first-adopters disorder.” Besides, there’s a lot of cool tech you could buy with that much cash. A plasma screen, a super tricked out gaming computer. You could even buy a car. No phone is worth this much, no less the Javelin.
