Users of the T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl 8120 are now able to upgrade their devices to BlackBerry OS version 4.5. The feature list for 4.5 include the addition of web, performance, email and calendar features.

There are a whole batch of updates and features within the upgrade. Navigation through web and general home page browsing have been improved. Multimedia wise, updates cover an improvement to video and audio streaming. Good part as always is an upgrade to data performance with a system clean up.

In addition to updates to multimedia features, better support is also available. A (personally appreciated) goodie is an update to email viewing to be able to see HTML based email. File management changes see the ability to download and edit documents. Blackberry Calendar allows for free / busy searching. The upgrade is available through T-Mobile’s website – but please remember to backup everything first!!!
