Although specific sources are unnamed, information about the next Storm look solid. RIM are set to release the BlackBerry Storm 2 in September.

The Storm is the first touchscreen available from BlackBerry. Reports suggest that the new Storm 2 addresses one of the biggest criticisms of the first smartphone. (Which has been voiced against other Verizon devices as well). Main factor being the support of WiFi.
With the inclusion of WiFi, the Storm 2 will be a better Pro-consumer device than the first Storm. The Storm 2 comes with updates to the inside as well as potential changes to the out (i.e. addressing any changes to the touchscreen). A launch would be in line with the BlackBerry App World being live for 6 months. The device then set to truly compete with the iPhone.
