We’ve been seeing a lot of teaser information for the BlackBerry Storm lately, specifically from Vodafone. But it looks like the carrier has jumped way ahead of Verizon today in straight up announcing the device to the world.

The BlackBerry Storm 9500 will have a 3.25-inch touchscreen with 460 x 360 resolution. It will also feature a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 128MB RAM with 1GB of storage that can be expanded up to 16GB by means of microSD cards. Plus HSPA will be used for high-speed data.

We still don’t know when the Storm will be released or how much it will cost but it seems like we’re slowly but surely inching in that direction. So that’s good news, right? You can currently get a good look at the Storm by means of the Vodafone 360-degree viewer and spec sheet on their official website.
