Even though we just reported to you yesterday that Rogers Wireless would be getting the BlackBerry Storm before the end of this year, it seems whoever leaked that information was 100% completely and totally wrong.

An email sent to the Boy Genius by Elizabeth Hamilton, who is a spokesperson over at Rogers Wireless, confirms that this was merely nothing more than a rumor. The truth of the matter is that Rogers will not be getting the BlackBerry Storm.

Apparently, the customer service representative that leaked out this info was mistaken. So if you had your heart set on the Storm on Rogers, we’re sorry but it’s not just happening. It’s a bummer, but at least a ton of other carriers will have it, right?
