It looks like the BlackBerry Thunder (or BlackBerry Storm, is it?) is a part of the BlackBerry 9500 series, as expected. It will be released with a model number of 9530.

This phone will be released on Verizon–hence the screen cap above from a Verizon inventory screen. The release date isn’t official yet, but it looks like October 13 is the date to keep your eye on.
