Even though the Samsung BlackJack II is only a refresh of the original BlackJack, it is greatly improved with a larger capacity battery (1700-mAh) while maintaining the slim form factor and the addition of GPS and the Front Jog wheel, doubling as a D-Pad, makes it easy to use while on the move.

Running under the hood is Windows Mobile 6, 3G UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth version 2.0, TeleNav GPS Navigator, 128MB RAM / 256 MB ROM (doubling the amount of memory from the original BlackJack) and a speedier 260-MHz processor (up from 220-MHz) makes the BlackJack II an ideal smartphone for any power user. For only $149 bucks, that’s a hell of a deal!

I really like the new Moto Q 9h also available on ATT. I think the two are comparable in features and price range – so look for a full review of the Samsung BlackJack II as well as a side by side comparison with the Moto Q 9h in the up coming week.
