In some states hands free kits are required if you are driving, in other states a hands free kit simply makes things easier. Anyone who owns a car with a manual transmission and doesn’t use a hands free kit of some type knows how dangerous and difficult it can be to answer calls while driving in traffic.

BlueAnt has announced a new hands free device called the S1 that has some great features. The device is designed to clip on the sun visor in a car and works with two mobile devices simultaneously. Whichever mobile phone rings first will be transferred to the S1. The device can pair with eight different Bluetooth capable phones.

Drivers don’t have to take their hands or eyes off the controls to answer calls with the S1, to pick up a call you simply say, “answer.” If your Bluetooth mobile phone supports voice dialing you can also dial a call using the S1. Handsets supporting A2DP music streaming can play music over the S1 speaker as well. Other features include digital signal processing and noise cancellation technology. The device promises 15 hours of talk time and 800 hours of standby per charge.
