Summer time is here and that means vacations for many people. A summer vacation also means that you often end up in a city that you know nothing about. That can be a big problem if you are looking for a good place to eat or a store of some sort.

Buzzd has announced that its location aware application is now available for the Blackberry Storm smartphone and other Blackberry devices. The application takes the users position and tells them what restaurants or venues are nearby.

Information is from Citysearch, Flavorpill, Time Out, MyOpenBar, and Last.fm and many other local content providers. The application is now also optimized for Canadian locations. According to Buzzd 40% of the downloads of the app so far have been from Storm users.
