When most of us think about cellular service providers we think of the Verizons and AT&Ts of the mobile world. All around the country are a myriad of much smaller mobile providers that boats significant numbers of customers.

One of these smaller providers is Cellular South. The company has announced that it will be offering its first Android-powered smartphone this year. Android devices are gaining in popularity rapidly in the U.S. with a growth rate of 900%.
Cellular South is mum on the details of the new Android handset at this time. All the company will say is that it will release new details on the device soon including the launch date, price, manufacturer, and other features.
