Cigarette-packet cellphone: lung & head cancer, anybody?

While we don’t advocate smoking here at PHONE Mag (of course, the title of this post is facetious - the jury is still, as ever, out on whether cellphones cause brain tumours), we do have a soft spot for cellphones that masquerade as something else; I guess it’s the wannabe-secret-agent in us all.  So I get a brief shiver of glee at the sight of this combination cigarette packet/cellphone, which not only is a dualband GSM handset with side-mounted camera, microSD slot and MP3 player, but a realistic Marlboro packet with room for actual cigarettes.

Spotted at Taipei’s ShiLin night market, the bizarre hybrid was priced at around $175 and came in a nifty presentation box.  You do have to wonder whether people might think you a bit strange for talking into a cigarette packet, though.
