Clearwire has been busy rolling out its 4G WiMax network in a few locations around the country. Its partner Sprint has several other 4G installations in place as well. Clearwire announced today that it has added ten new locations to its 4G network.

The new locations include Abilene, Amarillo, Corpus Christi, Killeen/Temple, Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, Waco and Wichita Falls, Texas; Bellingham, Wash; and Boise, Idaho. These ten locations can now get voice and data service in homes and with mobile access.
Download speeds are 3 to 6Mbps average and have bursts of over 10Mbps. Home internet service costs $25 monthly, and mobile service costs $35 per month. Users will need either a USB modem for mobile service at $49.99 or a home modem for $69.99.
