Cricket Communications has announced its latest handset addition called the Samsung Messager II. The device has a sliding QWERTY keyboard and supports email, SMS, MMS, and 3G connectivity.

The handset also has a 2MP camera with camcorder capability, MP3 player, and the Cricket MyHomeScreen. Cricket will sell the Messager II for $199.99 at its retail stores and online.
