Sony Ericsson has released the second version of the white paper detailing the XPERIA X1. The white paper does not have very many changes from last time, but there are a couple of very interesting changes. These interesting changes include revealing there are two versions of the X1, also it details frequency bands the device will use.

It seems that the FCC would like to step in and negotiate early termination fees with the wireless carriers. These cancellation fees are incurred when a customer breaks contract with a carrier and leaves before the contract terms are up. These fees are almost always $150 and even $200 per line, per line of service. The main proposal is proration.

T-Mobile hosted a invite only media event tonight in New York City. The event was to honor the launch of two new XpressMusic Nokia devices. The Nokia 5310 and the Nokia 5610 are now available. Neither are 3G enabled for T-Mobiles AWS UMTS network, but both carry heavy multimedia functionality.
