If you are a Mac head, that has ties to the Blackberry camp rather than the beloved iPhone you haven't been able to get the Blackberry Desktop Manager Software. Gizmodo reports that the Mac version of the Blackberry Manager is set to hit early next month.

TomTom and AT&T announced today that they have teamed up to provide connectivity for a new GPS unit. The GPS device is called the TomTom XL 340S Live and it integrates local search with other connected services in the mid-range for GPS devices.

Mobile phone maker extraordinaire Nokia has announced that it has purchased Dopplr. Dopplr is a privately held mobile service provider for international travelers. The company had seven employees with offices in London and Helsinki.

JCPenny and Cellfire have announced that they are launching a mobile coupon scanning program offering coupons on mobile phones that can be scanned in retail stores. The technology allows the user to download digital coupons that they can carry into the store to have scanned for a discount.
