We all know that Dell has been shopping its own smartphone around in America looking for a carrier. Unfortunately, the company was reportedly unable to lure any major U.S. carriers to offer its phone.

Since America was a no go, the computer maker took its new smartphone to China and according to SlashGear; the smartphone is set to hit the Chinese market soon. The tip comes from a leakster and there are no concrete details on the device or its launch at this moment.

The leak reportedly comes from a source with a record of accuracy. The OS for the device is expected to be Android and from the leaked images, it will be a touch screen device. Considering that Dell works closely with Microsoft, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Windows Mobile flavor tip up either.
