The line up for Sprint’s 2009 have been revealed. Outlining the suspects for this year among others including Blackberry, Microsoft, Linux / Android / Google Phones.

Initial highlights include the Palm Pre for the second quarter and BlackBerry Niagara (quarter three). The collection from Sprint also include a number of Touch, Messaging (QWERTY) and Basic models for the CDMA crowd including the LG Rumor 2, Samsung Chianti and Sanyo 2700.
Coupled with the handset releases, Sprint also have a number of Data Cards in the Portfolio. These rolling out over quarters one and two this year for PCMCIA / Express Combo and USB CDMA. Specifications for upcoming models from Samsung, Palm, Sanyo and HTC are listed with the interesting description of the various target markets. Each phone developed to hit a certain mass of shopper from those wanting social interaction, those that want it all but cannot afford it (Samsung Mini), those wanting to pay premium price for the latest and greatest (Samsung Dash), text heavy youth (Sanyo 2700) to business users while being ‘price sensitive’.
