DeviceAnywhere announces LG virtual dev lab

I guess I have never really put a lot of thought into how exactly mobile phone developers go about developing software and apps for mobile devices. I always sort of assumed that the developers had all the mobile phones on hand that they needed to test software on.

Apparently, at least some of the developers don’t even have the mobile phone they are working on in the same country where they develop. DeviceAnywhere has announced that its LG virtual developer lab is now open.

The lab gives any developer anywhere in the world access to all LG devices just as though it was in their hands in front of them. The lab gives access to 140 different physical devices available in Europe, Canada, and the US. LG says that the lab is part of its commitment to supporting mobile content and application development. The lab is built using Java and Flash Lite.
