NTT Docomo announced today the release of 22 new phones in four news series – Docomo STYLE series, Docomo PRIME series, Docomo SMART series and Docomo PRO series. These new series are tuned towards the newest preferences and lifestyles of mobile phone users.
The Docomo STYLE series is geared more towards style and image; they are designed more as accessories to complete a look. Handsets that are based around video, games and entertainment are in the Docomo PRIME series, while the Docomo SMART series covers all mobile phones that help productivity and management of their professional lives. The Docomo PRO series consist of the most advanced phones, for those who are always looking for the best in mobile phones.
Docomo plans to implement new services in their new handsets including, i-concier lifestyle-assist service, i-Widget for phone customization, i-appli online for real-time communication, gaming, etc. with multiple users and Enhancement map services. Docomo also plans to add a lot of today’s best mobile features including, more models with Bluetooth and touch-panel screens, Flash-compatible Full Browser, FOMA High-Speed 7.2 Mbps, 3G high-speed international roaming and Batch downloads. There are also many improvements that add to the usability of the handsets like unified input keys and batch transfers of user data files.
