Dymo CardScan for Windows Mobile phones launches

With the release of the latest version of Windows Mobile yesterday the Windows Marketplace for Mobile was also launched. Dymo has announced a new app for business users that have Windows Mobile phones with a 2MP camera inside.

The app is called Dymo CardScan Mobile and allows the user to snap a picture of a business card and the app automatically places all the content from the card into the contacts database of the mobile phone. This all happens without the need for a card scanner.

The application requires the phone to be running Windows Mobile OS 6+ and the camera has to be 2MP or more with autofocus. The application is available now for $14.99 and should be a fantastic help for the business user who collects lots of business cards.
