Easy being yellow; Motorola i580

Sprint announced the availability of the Motorola i580. The phone is a tough looking yellow number, my thoughts are sticking with ‘Lemon Yellow‘.

The yellow phone is another version of the push-to-talk staple from the Sprint Nextel Network. The i580 features a 262k color main display and the option of using a standard 1130mAh battery or a massive 1640mAh extended battery. As displayed (above) the phone is a neat little size. Packed into it also includes a GPS system, pre-loaded TeleNav turn-by-turn navigation software and 1.3 megapixel camera with video.

Made for those who live on the rougher side to life, the i580 has been certified to MIL-SPEC 810F standards for dust, shock, vibration, temperature, pressure, and solar radiation tolerance. The phone will be available for $US119.99 under a two-year agreement.
