The FCC has just revealed details about the Pantech Duo’s successor, the Pantech Duo C820. Right off the bat you will notice that this phone is very round and as shiny as grandpas head after a good waxing. Slightly after you might notice that yes it does slide both ways just like the original Duo and the Helio Ocean, which is also made by Pantech.

As with many phones these days, you will find the Pantech Duo C820 runs Windows mobile 6.1. We certainly expected better than a 2-megapixle camera on a device as cool looking as this. This handset is only a dual-band phone supporting and microSD memory card support. The FCC documents confirm that is has dual-band 850/1900 GSM/EDGE/WCDMA radios.

You will also find your standard features such as Bluetooth and MicroSD card support. The user manual also points out that it has services such as cellular video, and MEdiaNet. We find it a bit odd that neither AT&T or Pantech have official announced this phone. When they do there won’t be many surprises.
