In this day and age, getting your kids cell phones is a good idea. That way you can always keep in touch with them and they, in turn, can contact you whenever they need to. However, a regular cell phone is very easy to run up a large bill on.

That’s why Firefly has created phones specifically for kids with features kids can use without raising your bill to ridiculous levels. The company have now made two new kid-oriented phones available: the glowPhone and the flyPhone.

The glowPhone is meant for kids between the ages of 5-8 and makes it easy to make calls in case of an emergency. It features a full-color screen and a few games as well. The flyPhone is meant for kids between the ages of 9-12 and has more features for the older kid such as a camera, MP3 player, FM radio and texting and chatting abilities. Both phones are pay-as-you-go, which means parents can limit how much your kids can use them.
