The use of social networks is one of the most popular features for many mobile phone users. People are able to upload to Facebook, MySpace and post to Twitter all from their phone. Getting video from the mobile phone to Twitter can be complex for some users.

The first Twitter video application for Blackberry devices has hit the Blackberry App World. The app is called TwitVid and claims to be the easiest way to get video from your mobile phone to Twitter. TwitVid also says that it will power video for UberTwitter, the most popular Twitter app for Blackberry devices.

The TwitVid app lets you tweet videos directly from the Blackberry smartphone. To use the app you launch it, select or record a video, type a tweet, and click post. The process claims to take only seconds to complete. The app is also available for the iPhone 3GS.
