The T-mobile G1 may have been the first smartphone to the Android party, but it’s soon to have lots of company. Samsung has already announced its Android intention with the i7500 smartphone and the geeks over at PC World have their hands on the i7500 already.

PC World reports that the handset is one of the first smartphones with haptic feedback along with its touchscreen. The device is also very thin with a profile of only 11.9mm. Samsung also grafts on a 5-megapixel camera. Other features include Wi-Fi and WCDMA support.
The Galaxy is expected to have a better battery life than the iPhone thanks to the power sipping AMOLD screen. However, better battery life than the iPhone really isn’t saying much. Any iPhone users will tell you battery life is bad. The i7500 is supposed to hit Europe by the end of the month and other parts of the globe in later this year.
PC World was impressed by how slim the device is. The haptic feedback vibrates slightly as each key is pressed so you know you hit a key. PC World reckons that the feature will help lure some users to the touchscreen market from keyboard equipped phones. The phone also lacks any customization to the OS and runs the same exact Android flavor as the G1.

true although it does seem that the i7500 has the same OS as the G1 it does not exclued the fact that it is a samsung the better quality in the camera alone that fact makes it more attractive but not only that the keys makes it more handy to thoughs who are drivien away from the trackball that the G1 and the mytouch have which appleals to thoughs who are more prone to liking the blackberrys and such, also do not forget that it has a customizable key above the end button for your favoret app.
