Access to mobile access to google.com/voice of late has not been happy. Recently changes have been made to the UI, SMS and voice transcripts to name just a few.

Google introduced new mobile site that provides on-device access to all of Google Voice’s core functions. Users now have access to inboxes, contacts and settings for the phone through the Internet browser. Calls can be initiated with one click using the “Quick Call” feature. Sending an SMS can be completed simply through the homepage.
The visuals of the site are basic and work. Without being too busy the usability is great and easy to ‘get’. From this point, the development of the product will be great to watch. Really, Google is everywhere (they are even watching us from satellites, shhhh!) Is Google building the ultimate product? Will we soon see an Android-based handset with a low monthly service fee, free national calling, cheap international calling, free messaging, free transcribed voicemail, free email (Gmail), free mapping and directions/navigation and free 411?
