It seems like every time I look around I am running across new uses for our mobile devices. New technology from a company called Hand Eye Technologies has been announced that promises to sync our smartphones with other entertainment content.

The technology was demonstrated this week at DEMOfall 09 and allows smartphones to interact and transact with digital content like TV shows, movies, and online video in real-time. The software product creates a hot spot on digital content that Hit-enabled smart phones can detect and highlight automatically.

The hot spot content shows on the phone without disrupting the viewing experience. That means there are no pauses in the content or popups. The software also processes the viewers request for more information.
