Speaking of Helio, Sky Dayton has moved to a non-executive chairman position on the board to allow the current President and COO Wohnee Sull to take over as CEO. Sky Dayton is known for getting things going then relinquish daily management responsibilities after a few years. The rest of Helio’s senior management team will stay intact, however Helio did reduce HQ staff and field sales operation by about 5-percent.
Dayton’s statement: “Helio has reached a point in its development where I feel the timing is right for this change. … As we have for the past three years, the two of us will continue to define Helio’s direction and future.”
