The handset pipe over at Helio has been quiet as of late, but it looks like Helio is getting ready to change that, with the Ocean 2. The Ocean we all know and love on Helio now may not be old by any means, but in the fast paced world of mobile, it has been asking for an update for a little while now. Pantech and Helio, are not ones to let us down, and the Ocean 2 is shaping up to be quite the device.

Though only Helio and Pantech know for sure what the device will look like and what features it will bring, we have a list of rumored features to present to you. It appears that the camera will be upgraded to 3 mega pixels, and the video recording ability bumped to 30 frames per second. Also, the device will remain a dual slider with MicroSD expansion. The browser flash support built right it. It will also have a touch sensitive navigation pad.

This device sets the line for higher end non smart devices, and with a feature set like that, should be a welcome addition to the already impressive Helio line up. There are no official images of the device yet, and these specifications are not confirmed, but they sound likely. Until more information surfaces, enjoy the small rendering above.
