If the text messages on your iPhone running firmware 1.1.3 are out of sequence, it is because the time on your iPhone is out of sync with the carrier network time. The fix is simple, just make sure the iPhone is setup to receive the network time by going to General > Date & Time and turn Set Automatically to ON.
